Published client story

Featured in Game & Hunt.

In the magazine’s November 2020 issue, hunter Gordon Sneddon recounts a demanding mountain reedbuck hunt on Cowley Wildlife’s mountainous Mpumalanga property. Hunting with farm manager Douw Coetzee, he glassed multiple herds, passed young animals and ultimately took a mature ram measured at 9.5 inches.

“I was extremely happy and honoured on securing my first mountain reedbuck.”

Live where you hunt

One property. One team.
No concession runaround.

You stay and hunt on our privately owned property. That means less time in a vehicle between areas, more time reading tracks with people who know the land, and one accountable team from airport arrivals to your final trophy handover.

Your hunt, your priorities

Build a realistic safari.

The day recommendation grows with your trophy list and the difficulty of the species—not just the number of animals.

A hunt cannot be rushed

The kudu is called the Grey Ghost for a reason.

We have a strong kudu population, but a mature bull can disappear into the bushveld. Our builder protects the quality of your hunt by recommending more time for mature kudu and other demanding species. Opportunity is real; a trophy is never guaranteed.
